Illumination is the intensity of light from a surgical lamp in the center of the surgical area, usually measured in lux (lx).
Depth of illumination
Refers to the range of surgical lights that can provide high quality illumination at different heights.
Color rendering index
CRI is a measure of the ability of a light source to render the color of an object, with a standard index of 0 to 100, the higher the value, the better the light source reproduces the color of the object.
Spot Diameter
In the illumination area, the edge of the light illuminance to the center of the illuminance of 10% of the entire area included in the scope of the specific shape of the light at this time in the formation of this range.

Maintenance of surgical lamps
Bulb maintenance
Regularly check the working status of the bulb, which can be judged by observing whether there is an arc-like dark shadow in the working area, and if there is, the corresponding bulb should be replaced. When replacing the bulb, cut off the power supply and wait until the bulb is completely cooled down, avoid direct contact with the bulb to avoid leaving fingerprints affecting the light source.
Surface cleaning
Use a damp soft cloth or sponge with a small amount of weak alkaline solution (such as soapy water) to gently scrub the surface of the surgical lamp, avoid using chlorine-containing detergent and alcohol detergent to prevent corrosion of metal and plastic parts. When cleaning, be careful not to allow water or other liquids to enter the interior of the lamp.
Disinfect the handle
The handle and other removable parts can be cleaned and disinfected with 75% alcohol, or use low temperature plasma disinfection and high pressure disinfection. When sterilizing, pay attention to the handle not to press heavy objects to prevent deformation.
